Chinese Medicine uses acupuncture, the insertion of very fine needles at specific points on the meridians, to correct the flow of energy to produce a therapeutic effect. Traditional Acupuncture is based on ancient Chinese theories of flow of Qi (energy) through distinct Meridians or pathways that cover the body somewhat like the nerves and blood vessels.

Over the past 5000 years, Ancient herbal information was gathered, compiled, formulated, tested and handed down from generation to generation. All herbs are classified according to their energetic qualities, functions, and the different organs, meridians and disharmonies for which they address.

Cupping is a safe technique used in Chinese medicine to stimulate the flow of Qi and Blood throughout the body and meridians. It is used to treat many conditions, such as colds and flu, bronchitis and asthma, skin conditions, muscular pain and spasm.

Moxibustion, a healing therapy using Moxa also called Mugwort, dates back 3000 years. Moxa is used to warm acupuncture points and regions stimulating circulation through the points and protecting against cold and dampness in the body. Moxa is used for pain and deficient conditions such as: Chronic Pain (Shoulder, Knee, Carpel Tunnel), Arthritis, digestive discomfort (Abdominal pain, Diarrhea, IBS) and sexual dysfunction (Low Libido, Impotence).

Massage therapy is an effective adjunct with acupuncture. Muscle tension and soreness develop as lactic acid accumulates in the muscles. Deep pressure massage, releases the lactic acid waste and improves circulation to the muscles. Athletes, or people who workout frequently and intensely, benefit from regular massage. Massage is beneficial for general relaxation and pregnancy as well.
